Mysterious roof dents on Murcielagos

I just wrote this post on my blog about mysterious dents that form in the roof of all Lamborghini Murcielago's. I know everyone here appreciates and is critical of automotive design, so I thought you might find this interesting.

I watched the megafactories lambo on fox last week.
I have to say I was shocked at the amount of space frame still in the chassis's of these cars.

They never went into detail on the chassis so I gathered they are not doing anything special or they would be crowing about it.

Ah Keith, while slightly peripheral to the subject, your informative post has inspired me to apply for a Government Grant from Julia to research the impact of nipples on Lamborghini roofs. Should keep me busy for a while; don't call, I'll get back to you.
