| Word of the week Word of the week, feel free to post your own.
Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) -
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

| Re: Word of the week Pete,
You really seem to have a dim view of Democracy, you know, where the leaders are chosen through the election process.
Perhaps you can enlighten us with a better way.
Here are a couple options Dictators or perhaps Royaly.

| Re: Word of the week This might be that "chicken or egg" debate, so here goes. Which came first, the slow but sure societal change of self-entitlement, lack of accountability, and laziness of our workforce (I know...harsh words), resulting in the slowly growing economic disparity, which now causes the political morass we are currently in.... <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p> or<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> the slow but sure growing economic disparity and disconnection between ends of the economic spectrum, resulting in an apathetic workforce seeing hard work become less valued, resulting in the political morass we are currently in.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> If 90% of the population feels it's getting the raw deal (just a hypothetical number), then it doesn't pass the gut-check to say that the small powerful minority is always right (the one-way street analogy). To make it even more harshly worded, If the electorate is becoming more and more moronic, and our society is creating more and more of them, then obviously those in both economic and political power must be doing something wrong. The system is broken when it's creating its own problems. The results of selfishness and greed is coming back to roost in the US, and it aint gonna be pretty. <o:p></o:p>

Here are a couple options Dictators or perhaps Royaly. | I think democracy is fine Jim. The problem is some of the people allowed to vote.
Singapore is a Dictatorship that seems to work BTW.

How about I pick a day each year at random and execute the entire jail population over night. Ya think THAT just might deter crime.
How about pay taxes or get the hell out. Same % for everybody, no deductions, period.
Foreign policy, destroy our enemies and reward our friends.
Oh and if you are here uninvited you go home or go to jail. See crime prevention policy.

I am aware of that Jim, please excuse my poor grammar. Instead of vote I should have said support.
Does that satisfy your nit picking alter ego?
