iPhone Case and Bottle Opener

An Australian company has come out with an iPhone case that also includes a slide-out bottle opener called the "Opena".

They are also developing an iPhone case with a compartment that is large enough to hold a pair of condoms called the "Playa".

Would a company in the US develop something like this? Or is this uniquely Australian talent?
