A cautionary tale....

Hi guys,

Got this from a Pantera buddy in Paris, speaking about one of our mutual friends:
=====

So sad for Claude , remember?, and his 71 corvette (which was mine previously) .

Yesterday he started the car after replacing his jets , but had a loose connection on the intake gas line to the holley carb, and fuel fell on the hot exhaust, et voilą ... *(he had an electric fuel pump ) *:<(((

Yes, it can happen that fast, particularly with a plastic car. Replica Cobra and GT40 owners particularly take note!
