Cool video (thanks for the pointer), but it's the 45th anniversary of the 1967 win at Le Mans, which is the second win at Le Man for the GT40s (1966 was the first win).
Very nice... I knew that the tail lights were 1960 Corvair, but did not know that the ritual spraying of the Champaign during the podium celebration was born there with Dan Gurney... Very cool indeed..

I've just realised therefore that it must be 45 years since my last visit to Le Mans in 1967.............and I'm driving to the Classic in my own GT40 45 years later.
I would never thought it at the time!
Driving the car down to the Bolton Le Mans Motorsport Festival tomorrow, and praying for the rain to stop.
First long run in the car after a 21 month rebuild.
