Indeed Paul. I think most of the people in the village I live in will be away for most of August. No Olympic spirit in this part of Buckinghamshire. I say most as we have tickets for some of the better swimming and diving events courtesy of my eldest daughter.
I've heard the synchronised drowning and weight dropping might become free
events as apparently the only tickets sold for those events were bought by the competitors themselves.(for their mums?).

I've also heard that 2 of the newer events, Synchronised Door Opening and Hiding (Solo), are also well undersubscribed David.

And of course there is competitive bed making, skateboard jousting and Kangaroo wrestling, or is that boxing?

Well, wonderful news - Audi say go to Silverstone for the next event there instead of going to Spa as they only have gt cars and no LMP cars in the Spa race. Happy - in fact ecstatic really - I 've had enough of Spa for another year.
So its on to the wine place near Sangat - adjacent to the channel tunnel - and stock up on other things for 2012/2013. I may have to stay there for a while while I do some sampling.
