Olympics!

Congratulations to the Brittish C-2 men's team....they took not only the gold, but also the silver, sending the defending champs, the French, home with the bronze!

I use to race kayaks....much easier than the C-2, which is essentially a decked canoe in which the paddlers do not sit on their bums, they sit on a foam "saddle"...a big block of foam between their legs...with their knees on the bottom of the boat. It is the hardest of the kayak/canoe boats to paddle, not only to you have a high center of gravity, but you have two paddlers and that makes getting between the gates without touching them and acruing penalty points VERY difficult.

Incredible!!!

Cheers!...and again!

Doug
