supercars in Italy....2012

What happens down here with today crisys? simple...all powerful/supercars owned by normal people disappear.
Just had a talk with a friend selling cars, and the situation is this.
Every day 200 recent Porsches leaves Italy for est europe (mostly Romania).I saw with my eyes in his showroom a row of 996/4/4s/cabrio of all series, including restylized cars remaining unsold for prices around 15-20k euros.Perfect cars, with low mileages, all used only to show up slowly in shopping areas...
Nobody buy theme, dust covers everything since months.
A new shitty fiat cost 15k euros too,and thanks god also they remain unsold.

Who as me owns a decent car only have to pray it becomes historical soon, this to have lower taxations.
After our political/ridicolous mess we have a govern that simply kills car market.

An idea? price for an used M3e46. No longer supercar but still a decent real fun powerful car to drive (for whom dislikes iRacing virtual gaming online ..).
car price... 10k euros
taxes for year....around 6k euros.
benzin cost 2 euros/liter.

In this scenery is easy to understand why down here too many nice and well saved cars simply disappear at once from the roads.
It is a Sad local reality, thanks god there are other places where u can still have a nice car without govern needs to kill u.USA is still too far away, but already in europe there are still (I hope) better places.

My desire of gt40 remains there, and I also have the money to buy it. Not to mantain it here, even if since some time I've nearly left the country. With company had some fun with the Vette, definitely a lovely car, but as said, the gt40 is another world.Probably not in quality, surely as road beast.

Better I go on with my sailing.Small sporty stuff I love is still free from such high taxations, but as soon as I will take a little 10 meters cruiser ship here I will be killed immediately (ships and horses are in the top list for taxes). And in Italy we have many incredibly nice sea locations..

We have to pay all this cause german economy and banks.
Europe dont really exist, united states of europe will NEVER exist, the only really united states are and always will be after the atlantic ocean.

Yep I'd vote for you Paolo. Although I don't think you can blame Germany for the state of the Italian economy, as neither Spain nor Greece can. The European Economy and the World is suffering from years of negligent and wasteful spending in the name of buying votes.
The Australian Economy is in relatively good shape because we had a Government that balanced the books and ran a surplus for many years. After a couple of years of socialism we are now in deficit, but don't worry we can print more Dollars, or better still bung on a carbon tax.
The World would do well to remember the story of the Ant and the Grasshopper.

An expert´s opinion, no doubt.

Sounds like the grasshopper complaining about the squirrel.
