It seems a hobby farmer on the city’s outskirts sought Local Council permission to erect a Horse Shelter.
Permission was denied, leading to a typical protracted one sided negotiation with the Council.
Exasperated the property owner wrote “I suppose you wouldn’t even allow me to put a table and chairs out there...”.


“Of course a table and chairs are permissible” replied the Council.

I would say it is real.

If you look at the ground beneath the table and chairs the grass is gone and it is bare soil where the horses have been standing and have worn the grass away
