Just like BART stands for Bay Area Rapid Transit. It takes me nearly 2 hours to get to the San Francisco airport from my home in San Ramon. Nothing "Rapid" about it, we should rename BART to BAT.

And then there's the non-bullet trains. WTF. Something else we are going to have to subsidize for generations....

Our politicians (in California) have no sense, but we all know that....

I read that Ed Lee,the Mayor of San Francisco wanted to implement a New York style of "stop and frisk" to get guns off the street. Makes sense to me....but there is virtually no way the city council will allow that....infringes on too many rights....
