Okay so how does he do it? Missing Square

Yes, just looking at it quickly, it seems that it has something to do with the angle of the camera and that odd slanted cut changing the size (depth) of some squares.

There is more to it than a mere mathematical fiddle as indicated in wikipedia. There is dodgy equipment and slight of hand.

Part of the tiles go over the top of others. This can be seen leading up to the 39 second mark where two sections nearest us are moved out of the tray. The length along the left-hand edge of what remains in the tray is approx 5.7 units; and the length along the left-hand edge of what has been taken out is approx 3.8 units. 5.7 + 3.8 = 9.5 units, not 9 as it should be.

Around the 55 second mark when the tiles are all out of the tray, an extra half row can be seen in the middle. And it carries on like that.

Still looks very impressive.
