You could not make this up.....

"cabin crew did "overstay" in the cockpit"

I've never heard 'it' refered to as 'overstay' before now.

To all the pilots on here, what is the technical term/emergency radio call signal for, "we have panties caught on the flightstick, request permission to disengage"?

There you go again Mark making stereotypical statements, how typically consevative.

Although, in your defence, male cabin staff could also be found wearing certain types of underwear without a trap door in the front and frilly bits around the leg holes....

Auto pilot turned off due to a distraction ? I also find some stewardess's distracting. I,m sure David has some stories he could relate but sadly being English and a gentleman he probably will not.

Pete, you obviously have not been flying any US airlines lately if that is the case... the poor stewardess's are older than the planes. I feel like the union laws need to be changed.

Kevin it has be a few years but I agree, mostly my vintage. Funny how a 1968 GT40 can have you in raptures today but someone who was the same age as us then is is past their used by date.
I can recommend Emirates, Air France and Singapore airlines however

Virgin Cabin Crew are totally great :) I have learnt a lot! ;)

The last time I flew with American, it was like being served by my Gran! And if you didn't have fresh batteries in your carry-on megaphone, they would completely ignore you!
