Seriously though: Living in a border state we see first hand that this is an increasing threat to our security. There are folks here in Texas that are afraid to return to their ranches and homes along the border. Yes, illegals are occupying homes and properties, preventing the owners safe return, and no help is coming from Washington. That's why Texas is going to fund the Border Patrol with our own state funds to bolster border security. I understand that seeing the problem from afar diminishes it's impact somewhat.
