This?

Donald Trump, stacks of money, the White House, an American flag ... and, apparently, Nazi soldiers: is this the face of the new Republican frontrunner for president of the United States.....?

Or this?

Ford Racing's all-aluminum 5.0L Mustang crate engine is a modern 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V-8 that uses advanced features like Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) to deliver 420 horsepower @ 6500 rpm and 390 ft.-lb.+ of torque @ 4250 rpm (with premium fuel). The lightweight aluminum cylinder block features cross-bolted main bearing caps and thick main bearing bulkheads for bottom-end strength. Optimized oil drainback and windage control improve high-rpm performance.....

As yet unproven in the POTUS stakes but looking very potent.. (and with no Waffen SS connections that we know of)

The Nation decides....

Try and keep up Larry :drunk:

He posted a flier on Instagram with the Stars & Stripes superimposed on a group of soldiers in Waffen SS uniform...

Now deleted. An Intern (who got the blame) claims "I was just following orders!"

No he didn't, I said that. For a laugh.

I think it will be a close fight for the nomination. I wish I could vote, but of course I'm a non Hispanic, and if I could, I would definitely go for the Coyote. More bang for the buck.

Curiously (and perhaps ominously) his approval rating actually went up afterwards..

When I first saw the picture of DT above, I thought it was Sebastien Vettel's father. No, seriously!

Oh I don't think it's hinged Bob, in fact I think it's very UN hinged....

Anyway so it's HC, DT or a Coyote Crate.

One of them (at least) will be a wasted vote...

Why are you so sure Pete? The man is on a bit of a roll, and despite calling Mexicans thieves and rapists and displaying images of Waffen SS on a campaign tweet, his popularity has shot up. Mind you, I have no idea what is was before...

Do you think this is the 'Redneck Effect?'

One common theme of American voters, is that we seem to put an inordinate weight on "say what you mean, and mean what you say", even if what you say and mean are inconsistent with a greater America. Thus, it's no surprise that he is doing as well as he is. His mouth has no filter, and American will eat it up.

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the current polls aren't weighted to make him look like more if a contender than he is knowing he would be easy to beat in a general election. I know no conservative who takes him seriously or would vote for him.

Trump is a joke. The Trump card is a deuce. If that.

This is the land of opportunity. Anyone can run for President, even a buffoon like Trump. He is not going to be the GOP nominee.

And anyway, I'm voting for Bernie Sanders. Take THAT, Larry. You've done all that whingeing about Socialists, wait til there's a real one in the White House. You'll be begging Obama to come back. LOL

This what a real Socialist looks like. Jeremy Corbyn. No wonder she looks concerned. Conservatives are delighted he may just win the Labour Party Leadership contest. If he does, pundits reckon the Labour Party will be unelectable for the next 30 years. Britain has certainly moved to the Right in recent years and I suppose, and somewhat ironically, we have that ultimate champagne Socialist, Tony Bliar to thank for that..

You have to admit, he doesn't look like he knows how to have fun does he?

...I had to look up "whingeing" (or 'whinging')...and I was delighted to discover it meant 'zackly what I'd hoped it did!

Aaaaaaaaah, yes...good ole Bernie. If by some weird twist of fate he actually is elected, I sure hope HIS brand of socialism proves to be a whole lot more fiscally viable than that of, say, Greece or Puerto Rico...or Obama.

As ignorant as the U.S. electorate has proven itself to be lately, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Sanders were to win, since, as I've opined a number of times previously, there are now more 'takers' than 'makers' in the USA. (How they failed to prevent the election of a GOP majority in congress the last time around is beyond me. 'Must have been too 'busy' to vote? Or maybe they just figured [and rightly so in my book] that these days it really doesn't matter which party is officially 'in charge'. Their gravy train will continue to roll...as long as 'the other guy's money' lasts anyway...)
