I think this is the best footage I have seen on the internet of the 917, everything else is a short clip or is a historic film lacking clarity and proper sound.
Looks like the car goes around the track pretty good!
Its amazing how soft the suspension looks, I wonder what their suspension theory was.
I do know that the suspension only needs to be as stiff as it needs to be. Since the 917 produced relatively little downforce, I didnt need to be as stiffly sprung as a downforce car. But this looks really soft!
