917 Flat 12 Engine Drawings

Hi All,

I hoping someone can point me in the right direction, I'm looking for someone that may access to any detailed pictures, technical drawings, (blue prints if they exist ) etc of the flat 12 912 5 Litre engine. Anything would be appreciated, any of the various versions they produced.

A friend of mine built a flat 12 engine for his 917 replica recently. It was on display at the Phillip Island historics in Feb.

He used two 911 engines nose to nose, so one is running backwards, with the required mods to pistons gudgeons etc.

The Paul Fre're books have some good x-sections in them, showing the fan pick up. We are planning to do one in the near future, after a few of the other projects are out the way. One of them being a flat 8 for the 908-02.
