So honoured to see the great man race the 49, 50 years ago yesterday.
What a day, changed my life in the direction of motorsport.

Not sure how he would fare today, whole different era. Then it was true Motor Sport fans, now its a big media Circus. Jim was quiet and dignified, not sure the like would survive today. Shame.

There were even a clutch of 40s in the support International Sports Car Race: won by Richard Atwood in a Ferrari. Eric Liddell in a GT40 2nd!!
