Mounting front clip

Anybody else have to remove the front wheels to get the front clip on or off?
Am I doing something wrong?
I have 19 inch Forgestar F14s.

It’s a custom build. Sometimes you’ll need to modify parts. It’s easy since it’s fibetglass. Cut and paste..

Colin,

I have 19" CF5V's withNitto Invo 275/30 ZR19 (will be upgrade dto Michelin Pilot Sports after build/shakeout). I don't have any issue taking the nose off/on. I do have an interference issue with diffuser at full droop which I hope can be resolved with a little trimming of the diffuser.

Colin - do you have a side shot of your front clip mounted to the car, with the wheels sitting at ride height? Curious what your clearances are like between the tires and wheel well. I'm assuming it's contacting at the lower edge of the wheel well?

Cam, yep the lower part of the wheel well.
It'll be a few days before I get the car back down onto the ground. I will take some photos then.

I have measurements and photos in post #14 if you want to compare against your car. I was able to install and remove the clip fine without having to remove the wheels.
