Rep Power: 13 | GT40 at Indy Museum I can't remember the number of this chassis, but will have some more pictures next week. I took these while at the F1 race this past week. |

That's the first time I've seen a carb setup with the induction hole(s) in the fiberglass, cut so small. I can't tell from the photos, did it have a single or 2x 4bbl manifold? Looks like a 2x 4bbl setup from here.
I guess that Webers weren't the only thing they ran without filters in those days!

Those MKII's really do have some drama, even when still.

Rep Power: 5 | Re: GT40 at Indy Museum Each time we go out to the F1 race at Indy we check out this MKII. It has a single 4 barrel carb. as was generally run in 66'. It is a wet sump motor. While it looks very much like the 66' LeMans winner, the stripe is not the correct color. Other than that it appears to be an unmolested MKIIa chassis number unknown.

It's MKIIA #1032, although it looks like it's called a MKIIB on the display card.
Cheers.
