Road Atlanta Track Event in August?

Has anyone heard about a Cobra club that has a track event planned for August at Road Atlanta? Rumor has it that they are open to having GT40's attend the event. With my SPF Mk I arriving in July, this might be the perfect venue for a shake-down run!

Any details anyone may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

I will be at the Mitty vintage race at RA this weekend and will check on that. I have heard of one at Roebling Road in Savannah this summer but not at RA.There is a cobra event at Sebring coming up and all of these are gt40 friendly. check the deep south cobra club web site.

 

Hi, Chuck, I know this was very long ago, but I also went to the 2007 Mitty. I have several nice shots of a dark blue GT40 there, next to a sweet Lola T70 spyder. Did you see this GT40 and is it a real GT40 or a really nice recreation? I live just up the road in Tryon, btw. Can we post photos here? If so, I would love to post this beauty.
