| Festival of Speed Pics Hi all -
Got myself down to Goodwood today for the first of 3 days attendance and once again had a great time...
I managed to 'snap' just short of 600 pictures and have listed a few below...
All have been taken on an EOS30D at maximum resolution and hence, the RAW files (jpgs) are all rather large - generally about 3MB+ each and 3504x2336 each.
The images below have been sized down to fit the forum but none have been edited in any way and I have included 3 as full size images here: http://stsnet.co.uk/images/IMG_2454%20BIG.JPG http://stsnet.co.uk/images/IMG_2501%20BIG.JPG http://stsnet.co.uk/images/IMG_2761%20BIG.JPG
So - once I've been on all 3 days - I'll copy ALL the RAW images over the 3 days to DVD(s) to make available for those interested for a small fee (got to pay for my tickets somehow... ) - so if you're interested, please PM me... (I could include ALL the previous FOS pics I've taken too if people are interested??).
The pictures...(batch 1)

I found the answer to my question in a press release.
"Five of the total of just six Royales built will be on display at Goodwood as part of the Cartier ‘Style et Luxe’ automotive design competition – the most ever gathered together in the UK."
I wonder which car was missing and why? |

| Re: Festival of Speed Pics Hi Fred -
The Ferrari is the Pininfarina/Glickenhaus P4/P5 Concept that was built for Forum Member Jim - (MK -4 J6)... and very nice it is too...
More about it here: Pininfarina | Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina
Ben -
Yep, 5 of the 6 built were there, but the 6th is in a Museum in California I think and the owner would not release it for inclusion in the display...
So - I was there again today and snapped another few hundred pics, of which another taster is shown below, although I went home early as it hammered down with rain about 2pm and I was not standing in the rain.
Back again tomorrow - fingers crossed for clearer weather...

Therefore amazing how they allowed everyone to wonder freely amongst the cars - can't imagine any art gallery doing the same with such valued items!!

| Re: Festival of Speed Pics Special Thanks to everyone for posting these pictures.
For some of us, and me in perticular, just turning on the computer to visit this site is a challenge on certain days......depending on how I feel.
Being able to see these great pictures is really nice. I can only imagine the many wonderful cars and sounds that an event like this has to offer.
Damn, being able to go to this would be a 10 out of a 10.
Thanks again for your time to take the pictures, and post them here.
