How does the Superformance handle track days?

New here and I am just starting my research into the Superformance GT40.
I would like to track this can and can see it there maybe 20 weekends in a year.
I would like to get the info about the cars capabilities and how it would hold up. Plus any upgrades that one might suggest for the track.

Thanks

David

Re: How does the Superformance handle track days?

Hello David,

Although I am new here I know the Superformance a little bit.
For track days I would at least add a roll cage, fire exstinguisher system and different suspension.
The European distributor has a special suspension package developed by Wilbers from Germany. This set is fully adjustable.
As for the Wilwood brakes for trackdays I would ditch these and go for AP Racing brakes and good pads. You'll be amazed what the right pads will do to the braking performance.

Regards,

John
