| Goodwood Road Racing Sprint - Easter Mon Hi all -
Popped down to Goodwood today as former GTD40 owner Andrew Fordyce was competing there in his beautiful 1962 E-Type Jaguar. The weather was a bit iffy, with spitting of rain one minute, light hail another and then sun the next.
Still, an interesting turnout of vehicles covering from old to new. I only managed to snap a few pics, but thought you might be interested in seing some of them.

| Re: Goodwood Road Racing Sprint - Easter Mon Finally - Sorry, but I could not resist posting this one.....
If you cannot afford the car - buy the wheels instead...... SAD!!!
EDIT: Actually now I look at them again - They are not what I thought they were - i.e. Bentley wheels.... my bad!

Whose event was it? Would be interested to find out the times for the Prosport (as if you couldn't guess!) The picture of the really old car with 3A on it, is that Peter Stevens?

Event was a Goodwood Road Racing Club (GRRC) Sprint and the Prosport was the one we've seen there previously. I did'nt see a timed run, but his practice standing lap was about 98s I believe (it ran a 94.47 last year).
3A is a '1907 Wolseley Siddeley Coppa Florio' - not sure of owner/driver but it had a 10 litre 4 cyl engine - ex aero I guess.

| Re: Goodwood Road Racing Sprint - Easter Mon Even allowing for cold tyres that Prosport is slower than I thought it would be! After all GTDs can go quicker than that and you have experienced how my Prosport can go! Interesting.
That old car is not the one I thought it was!
