GT40 Challenge series in the US?!

Anyone know anything about this?

Overheard was a conversation at a benefit dinner this weekend. I was not involved in the conversation so take this for what it is worth.

"The organizers of the Ferrari Challenge series are working with Superformance to do a spec GT40R challenge series in the United States. Details are still being determined."

Has Superformance even released their GT40R model yet?

What tracks?

Buy-in?
