BRM V16 Soundtrack

I believe this is Nick Mason's car. His book, Into the Red, came with a CD of recordings he made featuring the cars in his collection. That's the cut of his BRM. I love to put that CD on at high volume in my garage while I mess about with my car. Evidently it took a large contingent of mechanics and a lot of effort to get the complicated BRM to run consistently for the recording. You can hear it stumble and clear it's throat several times. But when it was running....WOW!!

Hmmm. That's Nick Mason's car from "Into the Red" CD recorded at Silverstone.

I hope that NC site cleared copywrite with him before bunging it up on there...

The book and CD are still current.. :worried:

Hi guys
The BRM V16 has a fantastic sound, I am agreat fan of all things BRM ,they were a trully engineered car sometimes let down by the comittee style management.
I used to keep the V16 soundtrack in my film unit car,had great fun playing it loud when driving a half asleep stroppy actor home,it used to frighten the life out of him ,always woke up with a start and looked behind thinking we were being chased by a gang of Hells Angels on Harleys.
cheers
John:laugh:
