By turning braking energy into electrical energy and charging when we're in traffic we're able to have 60 HP and 60 FT/LBS of instant torque on hand during our entire 8:30 lap.
KERS has also raised our VMAX by 20 KPH on the straignt and lowerd our lap times by 15 seconds over last year. Our MPG is also up by .5 MPG which enables us to go an extra lap before refueling which can mean two fewer pit stops per 24 hours.
