I went to Canapas in Scotts Valley today, quite a collection, including two of the three chassis to have won Le Mans twice, of course the third is P/1075!

Another sweet one, the actual last Ferrari to win Le Mans...

Jim, all is well with me and glad to see you're still out and about looking in all the right places for that new car.

A 962, you always had great taste. I also recall you drooling over that Mazda in Daytona last year.

Over 50 K in your 40 yet? Still my hero!

Jimmy,

I thought of you and our MKI search at Daytona...A few weeks back, I went through all the car models at The Monterey Historics, one end to the other, still only MKIIs...Damn!

John, thats a very interesting car, any photos?

Here are some other shots: The LM motor, and two Can Am Shadows, one complete and one tub.

When I look at these pictures one car stands out of the crowd of great cars. The 917-30KL ... The very last word in unlimited roadracing.

I should have drove over the hill for this last Canepa event you just never know what is going to be there, I blame overcast and a warm blanket.
