The new GT is obviously still a development project but they look to have great potential.

Didn't expect them to run this far down to be honest though. Is it just Sebring now before Le Mans? I wonder if Ford will now bother with Le Sarthe - unless they can get it sorted in the next 16 weeks...Seems like they have a mountain to climb..

One of them ran the fastest lap of the race in class and the other was within a couple of 10s. Clearly they are as fast or faster than the other cars in class. The early problems were electronic related to shifting the gearbox's. Anybody know what happened latter?

They can't cancel LeMans, nor do they HAVE to win first time out, however they are fast enough not to worry about being un-competitive, they just need to run at the front in class, lead a lot of laps, and look like they can win. All new race cars have gremlins.

That's very encouraging. Damned actuators! That's what destroyed the gearbox in my Duologic Punto gearbox, but when it worked, it was fantastic..
