Coilover shock isn't ordered yet..but you can see
the upper mounting tab. The rotor is Powerstop 11.50 ".
I know it's on the wrong side...just doing a fit up check. |

Rep Power: 21 | Re: RCR Lola Rear is comprised of Fran's custom arms and billet upright
(very nice), which accepts the Vette bearings, and brakes.
The rear brakes are from the 1988-1996 model which is a 12" rotor and the caliper has an integral parking brake.
The square tube strut is temporary until the coil overs arrive. |

Rep Power: 21 | Re: RCR Lola Surprisingly, Eagle 15 " wheels clear the Vette Brakes.
Tires are Goodyear 295/50-15. Unfortunately the
Halibrands and Z-rated rubber will have to wait a while. |

The 295's look small. |

Rep Power: 21 | Re: RCR Lola Mike, it looks great.
One interesting thing I noticed was the angle of the top front a-arm. The DRB GT40 uses the same '87 Vette setup & the top arm mount is angled quite severely down at the back (see old pic of mine).
My recollection of my old '89 Vette was that the arm sloped down toward the back (but not as much as the DRB).
My guess is that with a big slope, the castor angle will increase substantially as the susp is compressed. Whether that is a good/bad thing is beyond my ken, but it would be interesting to hear some of the experts' opinions.
Denis, any ideas ?
Kind Regards,
Peter D. |

Also decided I preferred left hand rack (sorry Fran).
This one is Flaming River quick ratio. Very light. |

| Re: RCR Lola Mike,
good job....
You are doing exactly what I intend for people to be able to do.
That is build "their" car "their" way.....and keep it affordable.....who knows maybe with enough interest in the "Street" type column it may become a standard item....
Keep "em coming....
