Any reason why we can't use these fuel level senders?

Found Classic Instruments ones with built in pick up tube, same resistance range. https://www.classicinstruments.com/p...oductCode=SN33

Would make things a bit easier, less holes to drill.
Any reason why these can't be used?

Re: Any reason why we can't use these fuel level senders?

I used a similiar unit from VDO, seems to work well although I have not had my car on the road yet. The only thing to watch out for is the internal baffling in the tank as you need a bit of room for the float.

That shouldn't be a problem as the supplied sender uses the same setup, just without the pick up tube.

Jay,

your car was shipped prior to the new pick up tubes being available...I pressured Classic for 12 months to make them, when the next demo car ships to the UK ...in a week or two there will be some included for you and Stewart.....so hang tight.
