How about something for the Old Vette guys

Fran,

Have you ever considered making this body for a Corvette conversion? What do you guys think?

Thanks

Always been an admirer of the C2 Vette, especially of the '63 Split-window.
But this, I have never seen before, but I really like the result!!!

That was the StingRay race car that served as an inspiration for the 63 to 67 body style. The 63 Grand Sport replica is being produced by Super Performance.

Mid-America in Milan, Illinois also does Grand Sport coupes and roadsters.

A replica of the Stingray or the Corvette SS which provided the chassis for the Stingray would be very cool!

Get an LMP1, LS Motor and Trans from a c5+ Vette. Besides C3 and C4 drove like trucks and were not put together with any more passion that building a 4 seat grandma car. a bucket of bolts that the dealer would constantly fix. Why do think the resto business is so big on those cars. Not to mention "its a kit car" mentality of the ape purist with no imagination.

Easy there....

Now where did my jacket get off too??? :lipsrsealed:

I would think that something for the "old vette guys" would be a gt40...

Since I resemble that remark - YES!!!

My old race-car after putting it back on the streets::

Marc,

Thanks for suggesting the C5, noticed the prices area reasonable. I really like the styling of classic vintage sports cars. Something, with an open top, to make my San Francisco to Lake Tahoe runs. I've got some spare old parts sitting in storage.
