1.5 Mile Maine Top Speed event?

Over a year ago there was a thread here that started on a GTM forum about a "Battle of the superkit cars" top speed competition on a 14,000 foot runway in Maine.

Questions:

Did anyone go with an RCR product? What happened?

Has anyone ever competed in any other similar events with RCR cars?

Is anyone going this July? Vehicle details?

Yes, but no way my SLC will be done before the fall. Haven't picked it up yet and I'm still banged up and my head hurts from a hit & run a little while ago.

I have raced my Factory five Daytona coupe at Loring a few times.
It is a really fun event with great people.
Just study the rule book as they are very strick on safety........
You will need to have Fran upgrade your roll cage to 1.75 OD X .125 wall tubing if you are planning on running more than 175MPH.
