Half shaft

I received the half shaft for my build and I know I need to remove the CAD caps before installation. Need to know the method to remove without damaging the shafts. Powertrain is a LS3 with a Grazziano transaxle.

Please advise. Thanks

A gentle tap with a soft hammer along the edge will pop them off in a jiffy

The caps look like they have blue Loctite holding them on. I tried a rubber mallet and still they will not come off.

It's just blue silicone. Smack the lip that is bent over the side with a slot screwdriver and hammer. Work your way around and it will release.
