Transaxle needed

Anybody using the Weddle HV25 transaxle with the SL-C? My engine will be 650 HP at 620 torque rating. I wanted a synchronized transaxle for this build preferably 6 speed but would settle for 5 speed. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

check Mendeola Powertrain, They have a synchronized transaxle with chevy bell around 10K. They are doing a sequential 5 speed for me with twin 9 inch clutch disks

I talked to Chris at Weddle they sent me to Ian, Weddles stuff is mainly offroad and the gear ratios weren't great for a road car.
Ian will make you what you need. My SLC will start out at around 550 to the wheels but Trans was built to handle up to 700

I thought I saw a post somewhere that said the mendeola was too long for the SLC?

S5 is a little shorter than the recardo very strong easy to rebuild, Fran didn't indicate to me that it would not fit. I'll post dimensions for the Mendeola when I get it here, not looking forward to shipping cost from CA

No mendeola is not too long. there are a few slcs with the mendeola. Gary B's rotory is one well known example.

Mendeola is too long for an RCR40 but not an SLC.:thumbsup:
