Rear spring length. 6, 7, 8 or more

Gents

My 6 inch rear springs seem a bit short at 6 inches to give me sufficient height control. They are 750 lbs.

I have read and heard to adjust height with the push/pull rod or by adjusting the spring on the coil.

Recommendations?

I personally run 8". Currently 950lb. That (8") puts me near the middle of the adjustment range. 7" works fine though. If you can't adjust 7" springs you maybe need to adjust pushrods or your springs are too light.

A Graz and Iron block likely needs something heavier even for street use.

Have 2 sets of 7" 650lb QA1 springs if someone has a use for them. One has never been in the car. Other has about 1 mile on them.

Hypercoil has a reasonable selection of rates in 8" x 2.5.

And you can go to 2.25" springs if you machine the collars. That opens up selection. I did that on the front.

If anyone wants the 650s, PM me. I have no use for them. Not recommended for an SLC that will be driven hard.
