Alignment Specs please...

Robert,
I have been offered a free alignment on
a state of the art machine. All I have to
do is take it there and give them the
specs for the alignment. If you
have those or can get them it would be
great.

Re: Alignment Specs please...

Hersh,

In that famous quote , " If all else fails READ THE MANUAL ".

All the specs the people who are doing the suspension set-up are in the suspension chapter of the workshop manual.

If there are any problems please contact me although I am going to Le Mans tomorrow. Will and Chris are both at the shop and they will help you if you get stuck.

Best wishes,

Robert

Re: Alignment Specs please...

Dear Hershal
On the top of the rear uprights in my MK-IV is a hole threaded with a set screw that holds all settings firm. Are MKI uprights similar?
Best
Jim

Re: Alignment Specs please...

Jim,
That would be great if it did but
I don't see anything like that on
my uprights. All my adjustments appear to be
made by screwing the rose joint in or out.
Then they are set with a locking nut.
