Gear Change Panel

This is the last panel I have to install, and I have a question on the bend. If I want to radius the bend, how is that accomplished given the 90 degree bend where it fastens to the side of the vertical panel? Is there a trick to rolling a panel that has a 90?

Re: Gear Change Panel

Pat,

The trick to obtaining a radius bend on a folder is to use a 'nose' piece. This is usually a piece of aluminium that covers the 'feet' of the benders. The feet are the attachable pieces of the bender where the material is bent, the fixed upper part of the bender.

The nose piece forces the aluminium to take a larger curve when bent. Curved feet are also available but are expensive and as you need limited applications the nose piece is best.

Rereading this it sounds awfull but give me a call and I will try to explain.

Best wishes,

Robert
