| Fuel Pump for Carb GT40
Just for you guys assembling your car and using a carb setup give some thought to what type of fuel pump you are going to use. I'm using electric Holley blue pumps, but if I were doing it over again I'd use a mechanical pump mounted on the block. I had a front cover to do that but elected to go the serpentine route with electric pumps.
The only reason I would do it in this fashion is simplicity. Though I'm very competent with wiring etc. I would like even less of it than I do now. Mechanical pumps can be very reliable and can deliver the volume of fuel needed for any motor depending on pump design.
