Rep Power: 57 | Fellows, I need a part.... I've lost a small part. You know the spacers that go into the helm joints (rose joints) that connect the rear drag bars with the uprights? They basically shim down a 3/8" bolt to a 1/2" Helm joint and allow the helm joint to rotate easily? They look sort of like a wedding cake a suppose when viewed from the side.
I've lost one and am one short now. Anyone know where to purcahse these little buggers? I need one sort of fast because I've got all the stuff ready to go to pull it from the dolly and I'm thinking the drag bars should be hooked up before I push/move the car around. Otherwise it might put too much stress on things. Thanks for any help anyone can provide, best,
Ron |

The small "special" spacers are the same for all rose joints and for the rear lower shock absorber (short).
We have them specially made for us and I am happy to send one over to you Ron if you need it. Just holler !!!!!
Best wishes,
Robert |

Rep Power: 13 | Re: Fellows, I need a part.... Ron, Robert sent me an extra set for the shocks as I mangled one! Sorry, but I don't have any extras of what you're looking for. I was thinking, if you can't wait for something from Robert, you might also try Aurora Bearings ( www.aurorabearings.com) and see if they make them themselves. It's a good possibility. |

Thanks very much mate, I appreciate it! Good service from you guys down there for sure, even if I'm sure I lost the damn thing myself because I certainly had it when I mocked it up. Thanks again, best,
Ron |
