Door weatherstrip trim

Anyone got a close picture of how they handled the weatherstriping that goes along the top of the sill over the fuel tank? Would you be willing to share this picture?

Hey Pat,
You don't need no stinkin' picture.

In your kit you should have two pieces of aluminium about. 3"x 34'. I'm not sure of the lengh exactly but it will be near that.
First you put a 5/8th" high 90 degree bend along the 34" edge of the aluminium. This edge is what the door seal fits onto. The other two or so inches fits under the fiberglass sills. You need to close the door with that piece set in place and make sure it seals up against the inside bottom edge of the door. Once you know where it goes rivet it down onto the aluminium cover over the tanks. Agood way to tell if it is in the right spot is to look at where the seal come doun at the bottom of the spyder. the edge of the aluminium piece should be close to that.
