O2 Sensor

What 4 wire O2 sensor is used on a RF. I assume it needs to be a 4 wire sensor considering the pug in the harness is a 4 pin connector. I do have only 1 bung in the pipes.
Where do each of the individual wires out of the harness go in relation to the wires on the sensor?
Thanks,
John

Re: O2 Sensor

John 2 wires are a heater, and 2 wires are the sensor itself. If your running Motec it's normally a Bosch sensor. You can download detail from Motec.com.au to get wire colour detail etc.Hope this helps.

Re: O2 Sensor

Hi John

4-Wire Bosch Sensor -

White +12 (power for sensor heater)
White Gnd (power for sensor heater)
Black sig +ve (connect to LA+ on ECU pin 31)
Grey sig -ve (connect to LA- on ECU pin 32)

Finally - select 'Motec Wide band' in sensor setup screen.
