Transaxles used in an RF

Hi guys, is the audi box the only box that can be used in an RF, or can other boxes be used. If so, what other boxes? G50/50? RBT/ZF? Renault?

Thanks guys

Re: Transaxles used in an RF

All the listed boxes can be used. The factory only sells kits and turnkeys that are setup for the 5 and 6 speed Audi boxes. Several customers have used other tranaxles. They had to source their own axles, adapter plate, clutch, and everything else needed to make the change. The best thing about the RF kit is that it comes with an engine and transaxle fitment package. It contains all the items needed to fit your engine and transaxle. It has all the belts, pulleys, brackets, starter, alternater, clutch, flywheel, shift linkage, motor mounts, and trans mounts. I don't believe any other company offers this package. RF believes this makes it a complete package that gets finished.
