audi A8 gear box

does anyone know what the plastic plugs(yellow) in the rear and rt side mid box are for? they appear to be the oilfill and drain plugs?
my local garage seemed no to sure as you dont get audi A8 manuals in U.K.

Hi Hew,
You are more than welcome to come over to me and have a look at the six speed in mine if it will help.i didnt have any plastic plugs for oil, but there were yellow caps on the speedo pick-up and the reverse switch.

Jerry, I'd love to see some pictures of your 6-speed installation. I'd be particularly interested to see the shift linkage, the half-shaft-to-output flange adapters and the mounts.
