air con connections

In my kit I had a sanden unit mounted on rf brackets under the dash left side .Now there are 4 outputs ,2 to eye ball vents and 2to the plenium for demisting.I also have a length of coregated tubing that runs from the unit to each of the latter. This tubing is 50 mm inner 55outer approx,Iam really struggling to get this to fit is there an easy way or are there adaptors available out of the unit to help with fitting of this tubing.Any photosof solutions?
Also the plenium inlets ar literally sitting onthe edge of the frame

Re: air con connections

Huw

I had to adjust the position of the plenum inlets to allow more room. That being said, it is really hard work getting them to fit. The best way is to fit the plenum inlets (once adjusted) while the dash is out of the car.

The tubing fits easily on the eyeball vents with some WD40 and also onto the Sanden unit. At one point I thought about gluing some tabs to the inner diameter at the quadrants as locators; sitting the tubing on those and then using duct tape to seat them, however I persevered and got them on...
