one word of advice to the single rod shift. pin every joint in the system. I spent a lot of time perfecting the adjustments to shifing rods. worked great unitil the first time i drove it...

Have not tested the gauge but i have a 180 degree thermostat and the current fans kick on right about the 180 mark. So I'm guessing the gauge seems to be correct.
At 220 i am not spewing any...

My plan is to use existing wire to the fan to control a 50 amp relay that is direct connect to the battery for power.

I'm hoping it will pull enough air to move the car (just kidding) ...

I went with a momentary Push button with Start on it. Wired it to the keyed switch very simple 12v and to starter tab. I had to bypass the keyed switch because it killed power to the accessory side...
