Re: Bundle of Snakes Advice

RHD with a ZF uses a rod shifter and as the ZF input shaft is below the output (unlike the Aude/Renault/Porsche units) you have a very low powertrain and thus lots of header room.

I would suggest replicating them rather than gutting them. That way you have the option plus some tracks have DBA limits the empty cans will not meet. It's only a couple of minutes to exchange them.

A) A GT40! There really isn't anything close to start with that doesn't cost more that a GT40 kit! Sbarro did convert some Panteras to "GT40s" but again, a lot of work and a high starting cost.

Re: Identify This Replica If Possible

It has been a popular "go to" IFS system for street rods for 40 years. Not optimum but very workable. There are many special replacement control arms and spindles to resolve bump steer, etc.

Re: Identify This Replica If Possible

Front suspension is Pinto/Mustang II/Street Rod system. It has a double pivot lower arm in lieu of the standard compression strut type lower, the double pivot is commonly a street rod type upgrade.
