Ok a couple of chassis pics
Center section ie main cabin and both firewalls
second pic is lower front A arm mounts
NB this is the prototype tack welded chassis and subject to mods as it progresses

yes for one there is no way I can afford the price for a full size 3d router nor can I afford the cost to outsource it
with mdf and mesh I have been able to tweak it as I go which is easy...

Septum cut free and guard edges re-contoured where septum meets them.
Edges of septum still need to be finished to suit.

Windscreen support is next in line, it will be raised at rear to allow...

in the plan view of this pic the "shut line" follows the heavy line from front of door opening up,over and curves around just like the 40 does only all glass on outside

was not happy with overall ridge shape, spent last few days fixing it

I was really sensitive to the dust I ground off the GRP skin.
it doesn't seem to bother me as much now, maybe the hide is getting thicker.

bummer, would have been nice to put a finish on it...

redid corners of number plate recess (top center one) smaller to allow deeper recess and better accomodation of plate light
rear infills now glued in place and corners filled
what a time consuming...

Upside down rear deck
Working on edges of openings and bottom edge as well as actual rear face itself
Next step should be infills of openings and checking tapers etc for mould release.

No shrinkage issues so far that I am aware of, more the other way around in Brissy's humidity on wet days. Mainly evident at slip joints where pieces fit together getting tighter.

as requested this is what I am currently working on
adjusted the bonnet vertically to fit the guard contours and re puttied/sanded.
fixed "rebates" on guard where bonnet meets
adjusted the septum...
