Another sad one for our list of absent friends.


Henry passed away last week following an accident on his way home from Goodwood. Many of us will of had the pleasure of meeting Henry at Autosport...

Yes it's a Bryan (not Brian) Wingfield recreation.
Bryan also built up the three cars that the Willment family had reserved the chassis numbers for. GT40P/1087, GT40P/1088 & GT40P/1089

I read somewhere a long time ago that the 'cut' door on the Mk2b was to give a better chance of escaping if a car had overturned onto its roof.

I think it was a 1.6 (XR3 carburettor) engine but with a turbo.

Hi,
I was told on Sunday that #55 was not GT40P/1127, but yet another one.
(I don't know which one!)
It was the first event for this particular car since a rebuild & the retirement...
