Nowaday aside the long circuit where 24 hours take place ,there is the new Nurburgring circuit used for the grand prix , the 6 hours and some Germans...

They where Simca 1000 not ...1100 :blank:

The fiat 850 are not all the same ( bezel etc etc ) ; these are more Lancia Stratos rear lights

When forms are sort of complicated you just have to "flange " the plug on small areas that will come out easy , when you flange the mold you can just mold one...

GT40 rear original light are from Simca 1000
They where made By SEV Marchal

Lancia Stratos rear lights are from Fiat 850
They where made by Seima

both seems to look similar but they are not...

when doing your riveting you will have to mix just enought bond to do one panel by one panel ; anyway these epoxy bonding are slow and normally cure within 12 o 24 hours , so plenty of time...

Duratec and durabuilt are usefull when you need to have a shiny mold directly( using wax does not take off the gloss of the plug

there where on the 75's race alumium tubs complitly coated ;
The MATRA tubs .....
They where built like aerospace aluminum...

They are classic LOLA aluminium tubs with steel (nickel plated or grey coated ) sub parts

Gt40 tubs and T70 tubs are not built on same material !!!

Gt40 tubs where done completly in pressed , welded steel and of course in internal areas where water and humidity was in for years it was...

Central body and doors are only usefull when used with front and rear bonnets ( clips) and it is also more than advisable to have the windscreen too as effectivly most of the surmoulded bodies do not...

There are 2 different products to use on bare aluminium to help on stcking the final paint coat

One is a blu liquid ( seems to be like " blu water") used by paint shops when repairing new alumium...
