Re: CAV clutch issue

Thanks foe the replies, I will look into all the suggestions. I am going to put in a new slave since it it such an easy fix and check the linkage. Hopefully it is not a bell housing issue.

Veek, it is a ZF, it uses an Audi slave, an easy exchange for a new one. I will check the throw arm for defects. Thanks as always

No go on the clutch rust possibility, but I do appreciate the suggestion.
It appears that I am not getting much movement on the clutch arm, slave or master issue?

Unfortunately this pic was taken when I was trial fitting the piece. I attached it at the bottom of the stacks and then bent it down to cover the throttle bodies.

I made a simple shield for the rear stacks( kind of like a turkey pan with only one side) and put heat shield on the header side of the stainless steel pan. It looked clean and simple and worked

Re: Mk I vs Mk II

when I still had P2103, a MK11 and the CAV mk1, I liked the looks of the MK1 better and that is why I kept it. Now, I miss the aggressive looks of the Mk11. Should have kept both.

they are not daily driver cars, in the sense that say a Vette or Viper can be. Low, poor vision, not water tight, loud, hot, hard to get in and out of in a parking lot.

Re: Current State of GT40 Market
